IndieRadioFM.net was first launched on the Radionomy Network. Radionomy paid artist Royalties. That was one of the reasons we choose to use them as our platform.

Radionomy Shuts Down THEIR US Radio Stations ON May 31, 2019

We Also Stream From The Shoutcast Network. Shoutcast Does Not Pay Royalties!

Radionomy offers to migrate us to Shoutcast, (that they happen to own). Shoutcast DOES NOT PAY ROYALTIES. That means if we want to play mainstream music we have to get a royalty licenses. That is just not in the cards for those stations. It is not big enough or generate the funds to support that. SO WE STOPPED PLAYING MAINSTREAM MUSIC on them. WE ARE GOING TO PLAY ALL INDIE MUSIC FROM ARTIST WHO NEED HELP GETTING THEIR MUSIC HEARD. We still use them to help promote your music. Their is a good chance Shoutcast stations will close in the future.

and we did.. We moved to Streemlion. They pay royalties via Socan. We have 5 stations streaming at Streemlion. We also operate a few non royalties paying platforms to keep our options open. We always do our best to promote you.

All artist who we featured on the site need to complete an Artist Music Submission form. We need to know more about your music and get permission to air and promote it for you.

Our submission policy is clearly stated on our site. When you as an artist send us music you are giving us permission to air and promote it with out the form mentioned above. We ask you to complete the form because after 3 months your auto removed from our MusicSubmit.com Page. We want to make sure we have all your info to promote your music before that happens. We use “MusicSubmit” because its a good way for you to send us your music and they have a lot of tools you might be interested in.

Royalty Platform Members

If you’re a member of one of the royalty platforms and you would like us to removed your music from our stations, please let us know. We are happy to remove it but please understand that once removed you can not be added to our playlist again or use our services to promote your music. We will convert you to a listener account.
